An absurdly fun, frantic, and fast traditional 2D fighting game, made by one guy in Microsoft Paint (he even made all the sound effects himself). It's a game that's so janky it's good. It can be downloaded for free here
Sans, Goku, and Ronald McDonald all appear in a cast of over 500 characters in this random mayhem!
Our ruleset dictates you will pick a random character every game! Hope you get lucky!
The M.U.G.E.N build we will be using is the same one used in this video. It can be downloaded here
Rivals of Aether - but the only character selectable is a completely totally, 100% accurate representation of Fox McCloud from Super Smash Bros. Melee

LIVE CHART
That's right! You can get your favourite awful game played at Jank Season by donating to a good cause! No matter what, we'll try our best to run a tournament bracket for the winning games, so go wild!
Please do not vote for games that would break Twitch's TOS as we aim to stream all Jank Bank winners at least a little bit. Also be aware we aren't made of money, so if your game requires specialized controllers and/or isn't able to be emulated easily we may have to make some sacrifices. If you have any concerns on how your chosen game will be run, feel free to join the WellySmash Discord and talk to one of the admins.
Donations close midnight 22nd December!
Entry fee: $10 venue fee paid to the front desk, all brackets are free including on the day of the event
Location: Respawn Esports Centre, 9 Manners Street, Te Aro, Wellington 6011, New Zealand
Date and Time: Sunday, December 29th 2024, from 12pm. Timetable TBA
Please bring your own controllers if you can. Including GameCube controllers and Steam compatible options, spares for controller-less entrants would be much appreciated.
